Addition to previous post....
I can not believe I did not include the account of my friend Lynnie and me attempting to take a sewing class while in high school. I did not take any home economic classes, so I totally missed out on sewing that may have been offered as a high school class. So Lynnie and I signed up for one offered at night some where. It turned out to be a class for older women (I guess people my age now LOL). We were the only two people who were under 35 and the main thing the other women did was gripe about their teenage children and husbands. Lynnie and I huddled together and made it to at least two classes before we gave up. The crabby old women made it absolutely no fun. I do remember we were learning to sew a lined skirt. I do remember Lynnie's totally being too small. I don't remember about mine. I have blocked it out I think. It was fun with Lynnie and I remember going to the class, her laughing about her skirt being too small as we showed it off in my living room and of course the crabby old women, but beyond that, I have lost most memories of my first attempt.
I pride myself and I am sure Lynnie would be the same way, that if we were to take that class again, we would not be crabby old women complaining about our kids and spouses. We would be having fun!!
I have come a long way baby.

Oh, yow, I am only just realizing your feed wasn't working--I thought you were just being quiet! So much to catch up on, glad you're still on a total roll. (I still can't get it to work, what's up?)
