Sloppy Dogs

I can't believe the triplets are 9 yrs old and I have never introduced sloppy joes. Well I did last week and it got a warm reception with all but little poot who seems to think all dinners in this house must tickle his fancy before his ever discerning stomach will let any food grace its presence.

#2 suggested that we put the sloppy joe onto hot dog buns for fun. So tonight I surprised the gang with "sloppy dogs" and it was a hit will all including little poot who gladly sucked a sloppy dog down! Who would have thought that all it would take would be a long skinny bun instead of a round stumpy bun? What would they do if they actually had to eat sloppy joes like their dad and I did in our youth; on plain white sandwich bread?

Food can be so fun!!
